A committee was formed during the last HOA business meeting
for the purpose of reviewing the High Forty Home Owners Association Conditions,
Reservations, and Restrictions. That
committee met at 2:00 PM today, 1 Sept 2016 at 615 N Circle D Way.
Attending members of the committee were:
Colin
Campbell
Mark Chaffin
Robin Jensen
Don Hunt
After some discussion, it was decided that the entire
document should be reviewed by the committee, not just the issues that were
discussed at such length during the last business meeting. The intent will be to draft a full rewrite of
the document and offer it to the full HOA prior to the next business
meeting. The intent will be to acquire
either an approval from each household or a comment/suggestion for specific
revisions. Those suggestions that can be
dealt with by the committee before the meeting will be addressed, (hopefully)
leaving only a few items to be discussed at the next business meeting.
Microsoft Word will be the word processing tool used by the
committee, using the “track changes” function of the software.
Don agreed to make the first set of edits and forward his
work to the team by 2 Sept. Changes to
be included in Don’s work are:

Add a section stating a process for association
members to request a waiver

Add a section stating the process for
association members desiring a short term exception to the rules
·
Craft a rewrite of the “commercial vehicle”
section
Robin agreed to go over Don’s document and provide her input
to the committee by 8 Sept. She will
attempt to make the language clearer and add any changes that she and Mark
think will help clean up the document.
Next meeting is scheduled for 2:00, 8 Sept 2016, at 615 N
Circle D Way. (The Hunts’ house)
